ReNerve – NervAlign products wow surgeons at their annual scientific congress

ReNerve showcased its novel tissue-based products at the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons’ Annual Scientific Congress, held in Melbourne in May. The conference, which had both face-to-face and virtual attendees, is the largest multi-disciplinary meeting held in Australia and New Zealand, providing a valuable opportunity to raise the company’s profile.

During the conference ReNerve met with numerous surgeons, generating a high level of interest in the company’s products, the NervAlignTM Nerve Cuff and NervAlignTM Nerve Graft. The ReNerve team discussed the company’s research and development program, which focuses on the development of tissue-based products to transform the repair and regeneration of damaged nerves and related soft tissue repairs. Visitors to the booth were able to examine a prototype of the Nerve Cuff, and feedback indicated significant interest in using the product in the clinic.

ReNerve’s approach uses science and clinical insights to develop cleaner, safer, better tissue-based products for improved patient recovery and long-term outcomes. Developed in Melbourne in collaboration with CSIRO, Monash University and industry partners, the technology aims to provide a superior environment for nerve repair and regeneration. A marketing approval application for its first product, the NervAlignTM Nerve Cuff, is currently being reviewed by the FDA.
